How do I extend my warranty?
You can extend your warranty by registering as a GEYOTO member after purchase.
All registered members receive an additional 2-year extended warranty for both portable power stations and solar panels—giving you extra peace of mind for long-term use.
If the product is damaged due to improper operation within the warranty period, is it covered by the warranty?
According to the product’s limited warranty policy and general after-sales practices in the U.S. market, damage caused by improper operation is not covered under the free warranty. Specific instructions are as follows:
1. Core warranty scope: Product quality issues and performance malfunctions under normal use (e.g., the energy storage device fails to charge, the solar panel has abnormal power generation, with no signs of external damage).
2. Definition of improper operation: Damage caused by external impact, dropping, or extrusion; malfunctions due to incorrect wiring, self-disassembly, or modification; use of non-compatible accessories; and damage caused by accidents such as water ingress, fire, or lightning strike.
The final determination will be based on fault photos, videos, and usage conditions, and we will conduct a fair and impartial review.
Who is responsible for the shipping cost of returns and exchanges?
The rules for shipping costs are as follows:
1. Returns/exchanges due to quality issues: We will bear all round-trip shipping costs.
2. 30-day free return/exchange for any reason: You will be responsible for the shipping cost. You must ensure the product does not affect resale. If the product is damaged or shows signs of use, we reserve the right to refuse delivery or charge a corresponding depreciation fee.
3. Returns/exchanges due to human damage or personal reasons: You will be responsible for both the shipping cost and any product damage costs.
Do you have models specifically designed for off-grid living?
Yes, we recommend our kit (YS1800-01-EC & YP200-01-EC) for your off-grid cabin. It is specially designed for long-term off-grid use with reliable performance.
With a 1024Wh large capacity and over 3500 cycles, it provides stable long-term power supply. The power station is equipped with full protections including over-charge, over-discharge, overload and short-circuit protection.
For a small off-grid cabin’s daily needs (50W lighting, 100W TV, 700W small microwave), the 1024Wh capacity can support all these devices for 1 hour without solar charging. Paired with the 200W solar panel, it can be fully charged in about 6 hours under sufficient sunlight.
Do I need to activate the portable power station for the first use? What are the specific steps?
You only need to complete the initial charge before using it normally.
Specific steps:
1. Connect the device to a household outlet using the included AC cable.
2. Short press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device, and the screen will light up to show the charging progress.
3. It is recommended to charge the battery to 100% for the first charge, then disconnect the power before using it. This helps activate the battery and extend its lifespan.
How to avoid overcharging and over-discharging the battery in daily use?
To avoid overcharging during daily use, disconnect the charging power promptly after the power station is fully charged; long-term trickle charging is not required.
To avoid over-discharging, recharge the power station promptly when the battery level drops below 20%, and do not discharge it until it completely shuts down.
